to mind is the airport. And as a matter of fact, Berlin’s
most important airport is only 2 km from our doorstep.
Thanks to the excellent transport network, the city’s best known
attractions like Friedrichstrasse, the Brandenburg
Gate or Potsdamer Platz can also be reached within minutes.
Yet Tegel itself has some very interesting cultural sights,
too: for example, Schloss Tegel, the castle in which the
Humboldt brothers resided in their day, or the Humboldt
Library, where regular literary events, concerts and matinees
are hosted. Rest and relaxation can be had nearby at Lake
Tegel, with its large lido and inviting pathways. We only hope
that, with all these leisure options, you will still have enough
