[more]Tentstation is the only campsite located in the heart of the city of Berlin. Despite being only a five minute walk from the main railway station, it is located on a quiet, green space of 2 hectares on the site of a disused swimming pool in the Mitte / Tiergarten area of Berlin. Only tents are accepted on the site and cars must be left at the free car park in front of Tentstation and cannot be brought onto the site. Caravans and camper vans may use the free car park if they wish to except during July and August but there is no power or water supply. There is space for 125 tents and the site is open from late April to early October. Toilets, showers, washing machines, dryers etc are available for guest use.
Clients may have 24 hour access to the site but the reception desk is only manned between 8 am and 11 pm, daily. Safe deposit boxes are available for storage of valuables. Prices are based on the number of people and the number of nights rather than 'per tent'. Rental tents are also available for those who don't have their own. Two caravans and the old Pool House are also available to rent.
