[oconnor714, 05/07/2011] My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Deml Guest House. Max, the owner was available everyday and helped us with our travel plans (buses, trains,etc.). We highly recommend this guest house.
[InsidersMunich, 31/05/2011] This modern hotel built high up on the mountain enjoys the most spectacular views down the the town of Berchtesgaden. The lobby features an open fire which is most welcoming on cold days. the rooms are spacious and clean and the bathrooms luxurious. All rooms have outstanding views, you can lie in bed and watch the clouds drift past along the valley. The spa area is large but the best thing is the heated outdoor pool which is accessed from inside.
[korni692000, 21/08/2009] Though the leaflet for this hotel claims that English is spoken in it, it's not so. The owner, Mr Deml, does, but he is never there, and his mostly-available Romanian housekeeper doesn't know any English. We lived there for one week; one day we tried to ask this housekeeper when our hotel towels are going to be changed, which is a rather natural question to ask in such a period of time. We could not understand each other, so went downstairs to ask the only English-speaking person in the place - Mr Deml - about it. He was in his bar - not really busy.
