[GutsyWriter, 04/12/2008] I lived in Belize for a year and the most luxurious hotel on the island of Ambergris Caye, is Victoria House. My husband took me there for Mother's Day and we had our own bungalow in the garden. Although this hotel is known for weddings and honeymoons, it has the best customer service you'll find. When we stayed there, red hibiscus flowers were placed on our pillows and around our room. The menu was international, the greatest selection of wines, and breakfast served American style.
