[milankzs, 15/01/2012] It's a great hostel! Excellent atmosphere, clean rooms, good prices... 10 / 10!
[martanikolova, 07/01/2012] I would like to share my opinion about the restaurant of the hotel, because I haven't stayed at the hotel, but have been to the restaurant and I was very pleasantly surprised. The whole atmosphere is very special, there are paintings all over the walls and old chandeliers, which are very subtle details that make the place unique. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. Our waiter was fantastic - polite and with a sense of humour. I loved everything about the restaurant. It is centrally located and very easy to reach. We walked to it, since our hotel was right next to this one. Pr

[martanikolova, 06/01/2012] I had a terrible experience with this hotel. A few years ago we had to stay in Belgrade for a night, it was a last minute thing. We didn't know the city at all and didn't know where to look, but we headed for the centre. We found one hotel (a 3-star one), but it was fully booked. We walked along the streets and found a travel agency and we decided to book something there. They offered us hotel Moskva. They described it as one of the best hotels there, 4-star quality, right at the centre, everything sounded perfect. The price was very, very high, but we decided to go for it (we thought it was a

[fizzytom, 08/07/2011] Metallurg Krasnoyarsk, Lokomotiv Moskow, Hajduk Spilt, Dinamo Bender: I have long found the names of some of eastern Europe's football teams exciting and romantic. Perhaps because of my fascination with things Communist, my two all time favourites are Red Star and Partizan, both hailing from Belgrade.
If truth be told I've always felt more akin with Partizan and recent political events within what was Yugoslavia have done nothing to persuade me otherwise, but it is Red Star Belgrade that has the swankier stadium and the museum which is based in its trophy room.
WHO ARE YA?
Red Star

[fizzytom, 07/07/2011] All great cities have at least one great park and in the Serbian capital Belgrade, that’s Kalemegdan. As I travel more and more in this part of the world I’m becoming increasingly able to spot the Turkish influence so I can tell you that the name 'kalemegdan' translates roughly as fortress square, 'kale' meaning a fortress or castle, and “megdan being a derivation of “meydan which means square with the meaning of a market place, or business centre of a settlement. Kalemegdan is the oldest part of Belgrade and for a long time, it was the city itself because the whole population of Belgrade live

[veny, 29/05/2011] The hotel is located in a peaceful part of Zemun. The appearance of the hotel shows its class. The hotel rooms are huge and we were fascinated . There are rooms witch looks like apartment .Each room has Hair Cable TV Internet and other extrass .The restorant is good with exquisite cuisine and eating was even more incredible, rich and delicious. We ate delicious seafood. The service was perfect, the staff also. Hotel bar is a good , my friend and me was pleased with everything. We recommend it.
[Easter, 30/04/2011] Bahus is the place that must see in Belgrade. Situated in the bank of Danube is a boat restaurant. The view is astonishing while the unique decoration makes you feel relaxed! The food is absolutely delicious while their wine list is bigger than you can imagine! Staff is excellent too, very quick and friendly! I suggest Bahus also for breakfast and coffee. Don’t miss it!
[fizzytom, 30/10/2010] Hotel Bristol is a very grand and elegant edifice situated near Belgrade’s main train and bus stations and a few minutes walk from the famous Kalemegdan fortress from which elevated position you can get a great view of the confluence of the rivers Danube and Sava. At the centre of its interior is an imposing marble staircase lit by huge chandeliers. It’s the hotel we stayed at for three nights in Belgrade.
Regular readers of my travel writing and reviews may be surprised to learn that I stayed in such a swish establishment; don’t be alarmed, Hotel Bristol is not what it seems, and there is

[jacko23, 09/01/2010] i stayed over Hostel 360 twice last month and i have to say it was just great. Not only the place itself which is very clean and comfortable but also the overall atmosphere. The people working there are super kind and willing to help you with whatever you need. The location is also very central.
[meenieob, 01/01/2010] This hostel made my stay in Belgrade!
When I was there in Oct / Nov it was practically brand new (it opened in July 2009 from memory) and everything was very modern and clean. I have never ever seen bathrooms as good as these in any other hostel.
Its location is excellent - right in the middle of the main pedestrian mall in the city centre. I'm a pretty light sleeper but as it is situated at the back of the building, none of the noise of the mall drifts up to the hostel, so I found it really quiet. No noisy traffic or bars below either!
The staff were all really friendly. Everyone s

Opening ceremony in Belgrade Arena has started!
The Belgrade Arena just must be seen !
This evening is the opening ceremony of the twenty-fifth anniversary summer Universiade, with great mission - to spread values that are the core of academic sports. It has started with a defile of more than 8500 students from 140 countries, from the Holliday Inn Hotel to Belgrade Arena, where the ceremonial opening is organized. Students will compete in 15 sports: athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, water polo, swimming, football, ta

Restaurant Peking (Beijing in Serbian) is the first and the oldest Chinese restaurant in Belgrade. When I was adding this Restaurant to trivago, I was surprised to find that it has 4 stars. As long as I remember (and I remember it since it was opened), the food wasn't that good, even when it was the only Chinese restaurant in Belgrade, not to mention what happened when other Chinese restaurant opened in Belgrade, beating it with quality, taste and price. OK, I thought, maybe things have changed in past 15 years - after all, I haven't been there since 1995. But I was wrong...
[merkat, 17/02/2009] My first visit inside of this colossal building was on September 7th 2008 when I was taking my daughter to a concert of ultra-mega-extra popular teenage band. As if the fact that I have to attend the teenagers' concert wasn't terrible enough for itself, the temperature that day was some 37 degrees Celsius - complete hell!
We came there two and a half hours earlier, because she has won the "Meet & Greet" (don't ask about it!), so we were able to find one of the last parking spots. Arena is really huge, with a large plateau in front, easy to find and reach, but the parking lot is definitely too

[merkat, 16/02/2009] I've visited this restaurant on the beautiful occasion of my friends' wedding. It was my first visit to this restaurant, although it's quite near to my home. I was expecting much from this restaurant, because it looks lovely from the outside: it is in one individual building, made in cottage style and looks really lovely surrounded with many trees, because it is located on the outer border of Košutnjak, the largest forest-park in Belgrade. The restaurant's name is Bajka, which means fairytale (in Serbian), and by night it really looks like a cottage in enchanted forest. But that's where the re

[merkat, 30/11/2008] Of all restaurants in Belgrade, this one is my favorite.
The main hall is on upper floor; there are few tables at ground floor, plus summer garden (but I always go there in the winter season). The interior is completely in old Serbian cottage style: furniture is made from natural wood and shaped in style, and numerous items from everyday's country life from late 19th / early 20th century are hanged on walls and placed around very tastefully. For each interesting thing you see around you can ask your waiter - they'll be glad to explain you what it was used for. It is a real treasure consisted o
