I had a terrible experience with this hotel. A few years ago we had to stay in Belgrade for a night, it was a last minute thing. We didn't know the city at all and didn't know where to look, but we headed for the centre. We found one hotel (a 3-star one), but it was fully booked. We walked along the streets and found a travel agency and we decided to book something there. They offered us hotel Moskva. They described it as one of the best hotels there, 4-star quality, right at the centre, everything sounded perfect. The price was very, very high, but we decided to go for it (we thought it was an amazing hotel). We made the reservation, took the voucher and went to find the hotel. It was right behind the next corner. The exterior really looked impressive. As soon as we found it we went to take the car (we had parked it on a nearby street). We went to the front, saw a place to park and went it. We asked the receptionist if it was ok to leave the car where we had parked it, he confirmed. He seemed very disappointed that we used a travel agency and didn't go directly to the hotel. Anyway, he gave us the key and we took the lift. It was old and very scary. From the minute I went inside the hotel, I started to feel awful. It was not the luxury hotel I expected to see for the money we paid. The room was what shocked me the most. I think the receptionist had put us in the part of the hotel, which was not renovated (the agency told us the hotel had renovated rooms). Old-looking furniture and a creepy feeling, that is what I felt and saw inside. Bathroom was awful, with tiles that seemed ancient, but not in the good way. We went out for dinner, because I wanted to stay inside as little as possible.
The next morning we hurried up to leave and we found another "pleasant" surprise, we had a parking ticket. And the receptionist had told us it was Ok to park there.
Well, this is my experience from the summer of 2007. A few years have passed since then, so the situation now may be different, but this is what I experienced with this hotel.
The few good things I can point out are the location (perfect, right in the centre), the exterior of the hotel and view from the windows.
Overall estimate: bad value for money.
