[Candide, 09/08/2009] This is the Chinese counterpart of "Ye Olde Tudor Inn" but despite the kitsch it was perfect for me. It is in a narrow, smelly, lane ("hutong") full of friendly life. They claim the building was lived in by a noted scholar in the late 18th century. The rooms are round little courtyards with no traffic noise. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The internet connection in my room was not that good but three computers were freely available for guests in the social areas. There is airconditioning, but I just left my windows open. Possibly the rooms might be rather cold in winter.

[gemnfox, 16/05/2009] Good staff, helpful, easy parking, great location near shops / restaurants, nice rooms, bed was fantastic, clean, good bar scene, reasonable prices for food, fun with chinese traditional bar
[juliebt, 22/04/2009] The hotel is charming. For a midtown Chinese traditional hotel, the rooms are surprisingly quiet and warm. The décor has a personal touch that is able to give you a feel that you are not on just another business trip. To top it off, the staff was wonderful.
[Robwil777, 02/08/2008] A really good hotel. A little on the expensive side, but definitely a little nicer to make up for it. Not too far from the main attractions of Beijing, and pretty close to a Metro stop, too. Very clean and very secure, and very helpful staff. There was even free (pretty good) music available on a speaker system in the rooms.

lots of boutique every where. Excellent breakfast every morning. Room decoration is really modern with with bathroom.
