    The company runs two main return routes from Bowness northwards to Ambleside (30 minutes each way) and southwards to Lakeside (40 minutes each way). There is also a series of other cruises to a variety of destinations along the shore and the islands in the middle of the lake. Its craft fleet includes three larger steamers (capacity up to 533 passengers), nine launches and four wooden launches. There is a summer and winter timetable which is available on the website. Sailing daily except Christmas Day Example fares: Round trip Bowness and Ambleside Adult: £7.30; Child: £3.75 Bowness and Lakeside Adult: £7.60; Child: £3.90 Family tickets and Freedom of the Lake (24 and 48 hour) tickets are available. There are car parks at the pier at Bowness and at Waterhead in Ambleside. All day parking (£3) is available at the Lakeside pier. Wheelchair passengers can be accommodated on some of the craft, but should telephone ahead before travel.
