[ZS1ACH, 15/12/2009] Whilst travelling from Bloemfontein to Cape Town I needed to find a place to stay for the night at Beaufort West. I was very fortunate to find The Karoo Gateway Beb and Breakfast,which used to be the old Beaufort West airport. It has now been purchased by a very nice couple and turned into a bed and breakfast. there are still a number of light aircraft that land there every gay to refuel on the journey between Johannesburg and Cape Town as this is the halfway point.
