In June 2008, it was my friend's hen night. So we arrange this surprised pampering experience for her since it is the only natural hot spring in United Kingdom. There are 8 of us all together. We took the train and then arrive at the Bath Spa rail station and then took 2 taxis to get to the spa. It took us about 5 minutes to get there.
We booked the 4-hour spa session and cost GBP32 (EUR34) per person. As soon as we get there we were given an armband each. We get access the Minerva Bath, Spring café and restaurant, Open-air rooftop pool, Aroma steam rooms and waterfall shower. We have to bring our own towels, swimming suits, slippers and robes.
After we all got changed we went straight to the rooftop pool. The weather was quite sunny that day so we were all enjoying the sun and were swimming there. The water was so warm and it feels very relax just laying there. The view was so great from the rooftop.
After enjoying the sun, chatting and relaxing there. We all went to the Minerva Bath to relax there. The interior was so lovely and calming. There are four pillars holding up the steam room above. After that we then went to the Aroma steam rooms to sweat out. There was still enough time so we went once again to the rooftop swimming pool for a while.
After that we all went to have a shower and dry up ourselves. We were allowed 15 minutes more for showers and drying hair time.
The overall experience were satisfying and we all felt really relax and felt pampered. It is recommended to visit the spa. It is well worth the money. It is fun to bring some friends with you to enjoy the time.
