Originally built as a wealthy merchant's house in the 1740's, this centrally hotel is located near to the Abbey and offers comfortable ensuite bedrooms with all the amenities expected of a Best Western standard of hotel. The bedrooms are offered in two styles. The modern rooms are decorated in warm colours with a Scottish influence and older style rooms comfortably furnished with good facilities. A light Bar supper menu is available.

Each of the 60 bedrooms has been recently refurbished to create a 'homely' feel. The hotel is located immediately behind Bath Abbey, a mintes walk from the town centre. Our award-winning Number One North Parade restaurant, has a varied menu which changes seasonally. Wines are sensibly priced and service is unhurried. On Sundays, a traditional lunch is offered.
