Bath Priory Hotel reviewed

Article
[pierrejacques, 18.07.2006] Sarah Shuckburgh claims that the ambiance of the hotel is that of a "country house" even though it is located "within walking distance of Bath city centre". This feeling is enhanced by the owners "collection of Edwardian and modern paintings" and the homeliness of "log fires and fresh flowers" interspersed with "antiques (and) comfortable sofas". The Priory also posesses the only "Michelin-starred restaurant" in Bath and "spreads across two Cotswold stone houses" with a range of wellness facilities such as "a basement spa area with pool, sauna, steam room and gym." There is a heated pool in the gardens, which have retained there individuality and the hotel also offers "residential gardening courses".
