[MattArgus, 12/04/2010] Fantastic place. Perfect!
[voctav, 01/04/2010] Very good,nice,clean hotel.Fair quality-price relation.Nice staff.
[bouncingshoes, 21/03/2010] I highly recommend never to go in this pub. I was there for St Patrick's day the other night and waiters refused to serve food to us...because they already had a lot of tables to attend, It also took about 30 minutes to get drinks.
When I went to see the manager to ask to be served at an empty table he told me that he was busy and to piss off.
[johulse, 15/03/2010] This is a lovely little place, just off the Ramblas and a few minutes walk from the Airport bus and metro. The decor is shabby chic and tasteful, with breakfast by candle light and gentle jazz playing in the background. We were the only guests when we stayed last week and it felt like we were staying in a friends house. Everything is spotless and smells nice. Just check out whether your room has ensuite bathroom or not as the information is a bit misleading on the website. Enjoy your stay!
[anto74, 09/03/2010] An excellent place to stay with children or other adults. A brilliant location, walking distance from the train station, with great transport links: metro stop is only 100 meters away.
Suites are clean, modern, with air-conditioning and quiet at night. Staff made us feel at home, they were kind, helpful, gave us several maps and good restaurants tips. I had a great time and I'll definitely come back.
[stewart1951, 02/03/2010] An excellent choice in Port Olympic, former Olympic village area, which is 10 minutes away from the heart of the city but also a short stroll from the beaches and harbour area at Bogatell.
We have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past few years and the standard is very good.
Modern no fuss decor will not suit traditionalists but is spacious and attractive.
Each time we have stayed we have been allocated a better room than before, email ahead and ask for the room you were in previously if you liked it, and the will accommodate or upgrade you.
Food at breakfast is amazing, easily the best th

[pupsy, 25/02/2010] Montjuic is the other hill of Barcelona which is on the opposite part of Tibidabo. It's not that enormous and enchanting as Tibidabo but it has its exquisiteness just like every single thing in Barcelona.Going to Montjuic is much easier than the trip to Tibidabo because you just have to take the hop on hop off bus and you will be there in an instant. It's not even very far from the center of town. When we went there the very first thing we saw was the National Palace and the Spanish Village. But the thing which is worth seeing is the Magic Fountain it's right in front of the National Palace.Howeve

[pupsy, 25/02/2010] Going to Barcelona the first thing we saw upon landing was a big white statue of a man with wide open arms as if he was looking down upon the whole Barcelona. Most of the people we asked said "this is Barcelona" but we couldn't get it,we couldn't understand what they were talking about. But we decided to climb up that hill and see what exactly this enormous white statue symbolizes. It turned out that this place is called Tibidabo, and going up the hill seemed almost impossible, however,it's not that difficult. The first thing you can do is to catch a train from plaza de Catalunya or the metro Linea

[pupsy, 18/02/2010] If you go to Barcelona and you need a nice and cheap place to stay in this is the perfect spot. Confortel Barcelona is a little bit far away from the city center but the subway is 10 minutes walk from the hotel and by taking the subway you can easily get to all the sightseeing of Barcelona. The Hotel is 5 or 10 minutes walk from the beach. You have a beautiful view of the sea and all the splendid and luxurious hotels which look as if they are built just to make the beach look even more charming. When we got into the hotel we found out that it definitely looked really modern and stylish. Ever

[pupsy, 18/02/2010] Aquàrium Barcelona that's how most of the Catalonians call this big water building. It is an aquarium located in Barcelona, Catalonia. When you arrive in Barcelona the first thing that you see is the great building covered in pictures of sea world. At first when you are at the entrance you think that it's just an ordinary aquarium. However,it's not what it looks like. When you enter you just get speechless. It is enormous and so interesting that it's hard to be described with words. There are thousands of sea animals from sharks to penguins and even some species that i thought that they did no

[jpark10, 06/02/2010] I went to this sushi buffet for lunch...only 9 euros, drink included. I am from the US, and eat a lot of sushi, and wasn't sure what to expect. This is a buffet, with the conveyor belt style, where food is constantly coming out. They have a high variety of food, both Chinese and Japanese items, from appetizers to pastries, and lots of sushi and good dishes. About 60 different dishes at least. Best of all, the food was clean and fresh! I couldn't believe it, especially for the price. The service was outstanding. I'm not sure of people here eat a lot of sushi, but this place is highly un

[belle, 28/12/2009] I have been in this apartment with my mom in october and i have to say that it was a very positive experince. The apartment is very complete and is very comfortable but what we enjoyed the most was that it was only 5 minutes walking from Paseo de Gracia and Gaudi's buildings. We also enjoyed the Rambla Catalunya, here you can shop peacefully avoiding all the crowd that you can find in other central areas and find some very good restaurants. Nice terrace to rest watching the people walking by. Thanks trivago!
[wecsil, 04/12/2009] Great location, nice surroundings, lots of shops, bars, etc (try Buenas Migas on the corner) Clean, simple but comfortable room with wi-fi and individually controlled air-con. Vending machines in the lobby. The only problem I had was that the street my room overlooked was small but surprisingly noisy. Bring earplugs. Otherwise it's hard to beat for the price.

We spotted this Tapa's restaurant whilst wondering around Port Vell. The larger boat is the kitchen area where they do all the cooking. The smaller boat has an upper and lower level and a bar and this is the seating area. Each table has a large parasol above it.
This looked like a really romantic place to eat especially at nightime when all the tables are lit by candlelight. To get on the boat you go up a small gangway and you are then on the lower level which is where we sat.
We decided to sit and relax and listen to the Spanish music whilst sipping a glass of chilled champagne, the g

[debmercury, 07/11/2009] The Location Of Europark Hotel
The Europark is a three star hotel in L'Eixample district on Arago. It is in a fantastic location very close to the Passeig de Gracia and a short walk to Las Ramblas and the Barri Gotic (about fifteen minutes walk). The metro and trains get you anywhere you want to go in Barcelona and its only a five minute walk to the nearest station. The metro and trains are reasonably priced.
Metro is 1 euro per ride.
Train from airport to bottom of Arago was 6.50 euros each way.

[debmercury, 04/11/2009] Barcelona's Cathedral is located in the centre of the Gothic area in Barcelona.
One of the things I was really looking forward to on our trip to Barcelona was visiting the Cathedral especially when I found out you could pay to go up in a lift to the rooftops, I love heights and the fantastic views you get from being up there.
The first thing that struck me was the elegant tall spires, on top of the highest spire is a statue of St Helen.
Barcelona Cathedral is a 14th century Cathedral built in the Gothic style and is dedicated to St Eulalia who was martyred at the young age of thirteen

[koshkha, 31/10/2009] I don't get to Barcelona as often as I'd like to and I was well overdue to visit my colleagues there when I went earlier this month. And perhaps they'd missed me just a little bit because they decided we should go out for dinner. Since I'd spent the previous evening burning my mouth on a rather unpleasant cheese pizza in the hotel bar, I was definitely in the mood to go out.
The restaurant they chose was La Bodega on Plaza Molina in the Sant Gervasi area of the city. This district lies to the north of the Diagonal so not really in a typical tourist area. The Sant Gervasi metro stop is acros

[hugoburge, 11/10/2009] I was delighted to stumble upon this hidden gem in the back streets of Sarria neighbourhood.
It stood out on a Friday night as somewhere with a variety of tantalising local foods in the window, including a giant bowl of eclectic wild mushrooms, and an easy modern style in a small package of a restaurant. I tried to get a seat impromptu but was forced to get the hotel to call up the next day to make a booking as Friday night was fully booked. I'm glad I did as i was in for a treat & could easily have booked up 3 nights in a row. I'll likely be going back tonight, despite the fact that it is
