It is clean and is located in the old town of Barcelona, just minutes from the station Drassanes metro line 3, in downtown Barcelona, the charming and picturesque Gothic Quarter, a few meters from the famous and busy city street : Las Ramblas. This location can easily visit the main sights of Barcelona, as Reials Drassanes.
Hostal Romay is a 1-star hostel in the old part of Barcelona city centre, known as the Gothic neighbourhood (Barri Gotic), in the historic heart of the city, very close to the Rambla, Placa Reial and the Cathedral. Drassanes metro station is just a short walk away and has trains to Placa Catalunya, Placa Espanya, Passeig de Gracia and Parc Guell. Barcelona's Port and the famous Columbus monument are also very nearby.
This is a family-run establishment which is ideal for backpackers. It is clean and offers 9 rooms, 2 with private bathrooms and the other 7 rooms with shared bathrooms. All of the rooms are simple with two single beds and, although they are basic, they are clean and very affordable. Sheets, towels and fans are provided. The reception is open 24 hours a day and has a left-luggage office.
