[ProfMagellan, 16/07/2012] Overall this is a good hotel but needs far tighter management. The room was well appointed although the lighting system was absurdly complex. Ultra-comfortable bed and 17th floor afforded a good view of the city. The Marina restaurant was first rate. The reception area is horribly cramped and, on arrival, (room not ready of course) I have had a warmer greeting in bulk standard Holiday Inns. Breakfast on the terrace is super. Very good

[nam2505, 31/01/2012] I have stayed in the Hotel Arts on two occassions (most recently early 2008) and have to say it is generally very good. The rooms are extremely well equipped and spacious and the hotel public areas are smart and impressive. On both of my previous stays the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is well positioned for exploring Barcelona. Certainly if you have the money the Hotel Arts is, in my experience, well worth a visit.

[lombardgina, 28/09/2009] his hotel is very modern and the room / amenities are great. The free breakfast is especially good with a large variety and nice location outside to sit. omes at a price however........ but for a special occasion definitely worth it. Got upgraded to a luxury apartment which totally delivered, sheer luxury.

The Hotel Arts is an "imposing monolith" and the "tallest" building in the city with a "gleaming white" framework with the look of a "scaffold-like skeleton".Visually it is "like a beacon" that lures visitors to the beach area and the marina. One of the biggest attractions of the Arts is "being next to the beach" - it's "away from the traffic" and noise of the city yet "still in the heart" of the metropolis. The location was "very close to the Mediterranean" with "tons of restaurants and dance clubs and a casino".
