Hostal Rio de Castro since 1967 is a family-run hostel of 2 stars in the center of Barcelona, fully renewed on 2009We have 14 double rooms all with bathroom; TV; Direct phone; Internet WIFI access; air conditioning and heating, which means we are able to offer personalized service.Triple rooms has 1 double bed and 1 single bed or 3 single beds (if avalaible)Double rooms you can chose double or twin (if avalaible)The Hotel is just on the Paral.lel an area with a lot of cultural activities to choose from including theaters and cinemas and only 400m from the Fira de Barcelona or Barcelona Trade Fair which is the most important conference and business center of the city.Our privileged position means you are just a five minute walk from the bus stop where you can go from the Plaza de Espana to the airport or the top of Montjuic to enoy the beautiful views or the Conference Center of the city and port.Avenida Paral.lel is a lively thoroughfare where you will find a choice of theaters and entertainment in the vicinity.The Hostel is well placed for the main through roads serving the city and is well served by public transport and only a few minutes away from the historic city center.We do have parking facilities for our customers.(if avalaible)
Hostal Rio de Castro is a 2-star establishment located just 10 minutes on foot from Placa Catalunya, the Rambla and the Gothic neighbourhood (Barri Gotic, and 5 minutes from Placa Espanya and Barcelona's trade fair (Fira Barcelona). Barcelona's beaches are just a 10 minute bus ride away. The area boasts good metro connections with Poble Sec metro station (green - line 3) just 25 metres from the hostel; there you can catch a metro to the Port and the Maremagnum area. The area is very lively and brimming with bars, restaurants, shopping centres and all kinds of shops.
Hostal Rio de Castro opened its doors to the public in 1967; it has been a member of the Barcelona Hotel Association since 1992 and was renovated in 2007. It has 12 double and triple rooms with private bathrooms, a television, Wi-Fi Internet access, air conditioning and heating. The hostel also offers a 24 hour automatic check-in system, a left-luggage office and Wi-Fi Internet access in communal areas. Pets are admitted at this hostel for an extra, daily charge of 6€.

The Hostal Rio Castro Barcelona is a 2 stars Budget Hostel located in a convenient, quiet and centrally situated area in Barcelona. It is linked up to other sites in the city by underground , Poble Sec station (metro line 3) is at only 25 metres (Metro line 3 green). From the Hotel you can get walking to the main tourist attractions in Barcelona. It is only 10 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya and the harbour and 5 minutes from Plaza España and the Exposition Fair (500 metres). The beaches of Barcelona are also near, just 10 minutes by bus (2.5 km) with the bus stop just in front of the Hotel. Las Ramblas and Barri Gòtic are also within 10 minutes on foot , as well as different shopping centres, bars, resturants and stores.
