[more]Residencia Nikbor offers tourist accommodation in one of the best possible locations in Barcelona: in the middle of Passeig de Gracia, the most important street in the Catalan capital, where you won’t only find major clothes stores but also some of the city’s most famous buildings such as the Pedrera, 200 metres away and Casa Batllo, 500 metres away, both of which are works of art by Gaudi and a fine example of Modernist architecture. Plaça Catalunya, the Rambla and the Sagrada Familia are all prime tourist sights that are within a 10 minute radius on foot.Residencia Nikbor has been a private institution since 1995 used as halls of residence for Barcelona University students. In the summer however, it becomes a great option for travellers looking for central accommodation in Barcelona at affordable rates. There are 50 rooms in total, including singles, doubles and triples, with en suite facilities; as well as shared dorm options with 4, 6 and 10 beds. The decor is simple but pleasant with an informal, student atmosphere.
