[koshkha, 09/07/2010] I spent three nights at the Majestic about 5 years ago for an international conference. I was lucky that the hotel and conference were a package as I’m sure I’d never have been able to stay here if I’d needed to book it separately as no company I’ve worked for has ever been happy about booking you into five-star hotels. The best thing about the Majestic is the location. It has a prime position on the Passeig de Gracia, surely Barcelona’s most beautiful street, and is midway between Gaudi’s two most famous houses, Casa Mila (La Pedrera) and Casa Batllo. This early 20th century hotel "lives up to its name" in more ways than one. The same family has been running it for "the past three generations" and it is "the epitome of quality service" and "hospitality". Rooms are "carefully designed" and have a minibar, safe, cable TV, Internet access and a PC connection. Guests can "enjoy a massage" or make the most of the "comprehensive health facilities". "Barcelona in a nutshell" is just outside your doorstep here! The location is "ideal, in the heart of Gaudí territory", a few steps away from "La Rambla or La Sagrada Familia", and 150 meters from the station. The Majestic is situated "between two of Gaudí's most eclectic creations - Casa Batlló and La Pedrera".
