The tourist information centre is located in Plaça Catalunya, where La Rambla begins and continues down to the seafront. The hostel has excellent transport connections, as it is situated on the corner of Gran Via, one of the main arteries of Barcelona, where many bus lines pass by and takes you to Montjuïc, the port, the beaches of la Barceloneta, the Barcelona Airport… Urgell (line 1) and Universitat (lines 1 and 2) metro stations are located next to the hostel. It is a secure, tranquil area, with lots of restaurants at good prices.
