The hotel is located in Barcelonas "coolest barrio", near to museums, bars and restaurants. It was designed by Fernando Armat and reflects the "quirly outlook" of the Camper Company. The lobby has a "nightclub-style" and all rooms have a "private mini-lounge". The "cosy" bedrooms have "wide and comfortable" beds and "luxurious" showers. All in all the author writes that "this paean to minimalism and ecology is great fun, from the jelly slippers supplied with each room to the clunky wooden bicycles for hire".

Either by appreciating the "comfort and extensive facilities" in the hotel itself, or by wandering out to the "Camper store or the macrobiotic restaurant", on a "specially designed, wooden Camper bicycle". The Casa Camper is owned by "Spain's trendiest shoe designer, Camper" and is the "most original" hotel in Barcelona. Although the room rates are "pricey", guests can use the "funky tentenpie lounge" which has "cool" music, "free" computer access and a "huge" fridge for guests to "raid" - "stuffed" with food and drink and accessible "day and night".
