[martanikolova, 11/01/2012] This is one of the best hotels in Bulgaria I have ever been to. A 5-star quality, great location, good service - everything I could want from a hotel in the mountains.
Rooms are big and comfortable with a design that gives the feeling of cosiness. The view from the rooms that look over the mountains is stunning! There is everything you need in the room and the most important is the balcony. I loved the balcony, especially with this view I told you about. Really impressive. The bathroom is very nice, too, I liked it.
The exterior of the hotel is also wonderful. It is the typical mountain ho

[hatevilaroka, 04/01/2012] Do not trust the pictures- everything is very bad and without maintanance- we were disapointed becasue we paid for a 4 star hotel- everything is dirty, lights are poor, room are cheap, no bathtubs in most of the rooms... stains everywhere, carpet is old, pillows are bad, beds are too narrow...what else.... DO NOT GO THERE ...YOU WILL BE DISAPOINTED
I am from Bulgaria and next year I am going abroad on vacation
[warmfur, 17/05/2011] Great Hotel.
It was very Private and I had the Sauna all to myself. Pool was empty.
Surprised it was quite Pool all to myself.
Close location to Ski lift but still up the hill enough to get away into a Quite location.
Near the Forest edge of the National Park.
[halatzos, 06/02/2011] Very nice hotel nearby ski lift and concumer center. The studio was clean and warm with kitchen. The bathroom was very small and it was difficult to move in The spa center was superb with many facilities. The stuff was polite and willing.
[scottiedog, 09/09/2010] I've stayed in the Mountain Paradise by The Walnut Trees complex for the last two seasons. It's conveniently located for the main Gondola and a short walk to the old town. The rooms are well equipment and the staff looked after us well. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the 4th floor complete with kitchen, dining and lounge area. The bar staff are friendly. It also has a smart pool and spa area. The hotel runs a bus service to the gondola but we never used it as its less than a 5 min walk. Will defintately be returning this year.
[Milen_I, 28/06/2010] Spend a week at Villa Roka in the end of March. Got fantastic deal due to end of season and the ski conditions were superb.
Hotel is minimalistic with fun shui elements in the interior design. Some of the areas could do with a refurbishment but otherwise it is a very stylish place. The staff is attentive and helpful. Breakfast was ok and the night out options in Bansko are numerous.
Great place to stay and if you get bored skiing you could always spend the day in the SPA centre(apparently one of the biggest in Bansko)
[guest_Banderitsa, 31/03/2010] We had a great stay ta Banderitsa Hotel on February 2010. It's a very clean and comfortable hotel. They also provide a cosy restaurant serving delicious food. I strongly recommend Banderitsa Hotel to anyone.
[pupsy, 18/02/2010] Florimont - is it a hotel or it's just a casino? This is the first question that occurs to someone's mind.Even if you get inside it you are still wondering what to do there, earn some money or have some rest. Actually Its weird look is what gets your attention and you just get inside wondering what comes next. We just got inside it and we saw the reception desk which was dark red,the carpet was red as well. And when it comes to the lights, there comes the interesting part of the whole experience. It was almost dark, there were some dark blue lights on the floor. And two lamps at the reception whi

[Dalka, 25/12/2009] This May I got married and we somehow got a present voucher with a destination to this incredibly unaaceptable hotel in Bansko.
At first we had a great feeling about the weekend we were about to spend, but after the two days even the Black Bush in the lobby bar and the SPA center could not make me think nice things.
All started peacefully and quetly. We found the hotel after half an hour driving around the so-called town. We had a luxirious room, but when we entered in it, we found out that I was destined not to see the sunlight or anything around for the two days we were about to spend there

[ValentinaMM, 10/12/2009] I have been there twice, once in the real winter and second time in May when the snow is still at the high hills of the mountain but you can walk in the city sleeveless.
Piri hotel complex is positioned at 2 km from Bansko and actually it is not so far from the city of the constant cheers and merriness! Actually, if you go by car to the ski resort of Bansko anyway, the location of Piri will not bother you and you would appreciate the quiet place, far from the noisy pubs in the evenings.
I remember my first visit there, in the middle of a severe winter, while you can not even walk outsid

[ValentinaMM, 10/12/2009] At this hotel I had one of my greatest New Year Eves. I went there to be a company of my husband that was the host of the event and though I was fated to stay alone all night, I didn’t feel like this, everything was nice and very cheerful.
The hotel is totally designed as Bulgarian-national-themed . It is build from stone and wood or at least this is the perception. It is very cozy inside, the lobby is with a fireplace used not only for decoration, although it is nice for pictures also. The benches are very nice with soft pillows and if you just need to rest there, you would not be bothered.

[MarZ, 30/08/2009] Pirin National Park is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful areas in Bulgaria, a home to a rich variety of wildlife and amazing flora, such as the famous edelweiss.
The park offers a variety of hiking trails and recreational activities. Pirin National Park has a network of 13 excellent tourist routes which pass by spectacular natural landmarks and places of cultural or ethnographic interest. The duration of these routes varies from 2, 5 to up to 8 hours. Rock climbing is practiced only by professionals with a lot of experience. Routes for rock climbers provided with all utilities have been

[galibali, 29/07/2009] Hotel is situated near local train and bus station. Near main road and quite noisy and dirty. There is a small parking for guests, for free. Exterior is impressive, and the idea is for stylish and modern building. Lobby is decorated very modest, and when you enter the first thing you will see is the rock piles around bar and fireplace. Interesting, for sure. Staff is very friendly. The other curiosity is that elevator is from glass, but in a lift tower, so you see only a concrete. Rooms are mostly double bed, divided to simple double bed, luxirious double bed and with balcony. Some kind of str

[tgtodorova, 13/11/2008] Bansko has preserved the unique architecture of the type banska fortified house. In today's city has formed a clear revival of core saved many residential and religious buildings - typical representatives of Banska original architecture, some of which are valuable works of famous Banska School of Art. Banskata Revival house is the type of fortified residential buildings and has many special features which it converted into an architectural phenomenon. It is entirely a massive construction, with one or more skrivalishta, obkovani solid doors, vent and decoration as a facade boasts a high standa

[Ani, 12/01/2008] Bansko is located in one of the most beautiful mountains in Bulgaria - Pirin.
The town has its own charm with its old houses and roads.
The food in the region has its own taste which is wonderful as for Bulgarians as for foreigners .
Accessibility:
You can go there by bus from Sofia as there is many lines during the day or you can go by car. 160 km on a good road is about 2 hours from Sofia.
"Must See"-Factor
If you like skiing and winter sports Bansko is a good choice. Its not so popular abroad but millions were invested lately in the resort and it will be very popular in future
