I stayed at a double room for TBH 550 a night (guest allowed).
The bed was big and comfortable enough.
The A / C was excellent.
The T.V was showing satellite channels.
I used to have my breakfast (a club sandwich + coffee) in my room which costed me like around TBH 150.
I used to have a lunch (for 2 person) (Thai food) in my room which costed me around TBH 350
Cold + hot water available in the bath room (Bath tub).
Laundry service is available.
The swimming pool (as in the photo) was not too big , but it was good for a

[jeff, 12/11/2008] Stayed July 2008 poor service, old and dated complex, looks uncared for, middle of nowhere. Some nasty jagged edges could give you a serious injury near the pool.
[gsx110, 11/11/2008] I had the misfortune to stay at Floraville and found it was very tired and run down. The staff were not helpful and taxi drivers could not find the place. The pool area had many dangerous broken grills whihc you could easilt get a serious injury from. I reported this but there was no interest from the manager.

[B_O_M_B_A, 25/08/2008] The Barge museum itself is incredibly interesting, the boats are beautiful and truely show off the thai peoples dedication to precision. The area surrounding the museum however is found lsightly lacking, i would advise taking the small docking boat to the museums small pier.

[daylelisahall, 05/01/2008] I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Bangkok. The location of this hotel is exceptional and we found it really useful discovering Bangkok from here. I thought that the décor of the room could have been better but it was clean and we couldnt really complain, I just felt it would have looked more attractive if it had been modernised slightly.
As I already mentioned, we ate in one of the restaurants and also had snacks and drinks at the coffee shop and we found that the prices were very reasonable.

Location
The Siam Ocean World is located on the first and second floors of the Siam Paragon Shopping centre which is pretty much in the middle of the City of Bangkok.

[daylelisahall, 30/12/2007] Myself and my boyfriend visited Bangkok Zoo in October 2007.
Getting there
Bangkok Zoo is easily accessible by public transport. There are bus routes that run directly there or you can get a tuk tuk which is the option we chose. We paid £4 for a return journey to the zoo from our hotel.
Admission Prices
We paid £3.50 each for admission to the zoo which we thought was very reasonable as the zoo is quite large.
Bangkok Zoo
Bangkok Zoo covers 35.2 acres of land and 12 acres of water. It holds nearly 300 mammals, over a thousand birds and nearly 300 reptiles.

[frankiecesca, 24/11/2007] The hotel is lovely and service is good - I cant really comment more in details on certain aspects as I only stayed for 1 night. However from what I did see and experience I would definatly stay here again if I was going for longer.
[stellaandjoey, 18/11/2007] I would highly rate the holiday inn Bangkok on Ploenchit road as a good mid range hotel. I would stay here again and again for a variety of different reasons. Overall, I would rate this hotel for anyone - it's good location, great staff, good facilities and just generally a really good standard of hotel at a reasonable price.
[chloelowndes, 09/11/2007] An absolutley superb hotel with many breath-taking qualities that will make you wonder why you considered any other. Excellent rooms, staff, food and transportation links and all at an extraordinarily low room rate of around £50-60 per room per night. Beautiful hotel.
[daylelisahall, 27/06/2007] I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visitng Bangkok. I thought that hotel was in a good central location allowing us to see many of the tourist hotspots while we were there.
The hotel was very clean and spacious and I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
