[auzzuri3, 01/02/2012] Cheap and convenient Bangkok Airport Hotel - was only 5 minutes by shuttle van. Staff met me at airport arrivals - okay for overnight stopover.
[zena111, 10/12/2011] Totally recommended!!
Great location clean rooms friendly staff
only disadvantage would be the breakfast, not a great variety of food
[LoungeLizzard, 29/11/2011] In one sentence: average with the soft product worse than the hardware. Staff still needs some training to meet the expectations of a hotel searching for a reputation among the top hotels in Bangkok. One really cannot oversee the problems they have. The good thing, training should work and I have seen some improvements lately.
Rooms are nice and well maintained; though some minor issues like small bathroom have to be accepted. Executive Lounge is good. The gym is a nice to have but should not be the reason to stay there.
I would rate is lower than Conrad or Plaza Athenée but above Interconti

[LoungeLizzard, 19/11/2011] A good hotel in a central location, but the service attitude is somewhat annoying and in so far I am thinking twice to stay there, if I have other choices in Bangkok. Even as a returning guest, they try to argue with me about benefits. In the end I get the benefits I am entitled to receive, but I really do not understand why it the same procedure for my next stay. And the service is not as good as it has been at the beginning. Otherwise the views of the rooms are good and the roof top pool is nice but small. The main problem is, they are not outstanding anymore, they are below average of the l

[wsenapol, 17/11/2011] very nice
[Mikesh, 09/11/2011] A must visit for the concept. They basically promote aids awareness and safe sex. They have a lot of sculptures made out of condoms and this is done beautifully. A must visit to see the place, but you can skip on the food though. Food was below average, wouldn't eat it at all. They do give out free condoms. This according to some people can be a tourist trap, but I would call it a must visit for its unique concept.
[Mikesh, 09/11/2011] 1st we went to the dept store which had all the brands, weren't too interested i this and then started walking around. We were on the 5th level where all the cloth shops are located. They have some nice cheap clothes. Have to bargain a lot. One show look online for the approx cost of each things so have a better idea. All the items that are being cold are copies, make sure to find good copies as most of them are really bad copies and anyone can tell that they are fakes, and they wont last too long. We could barely finish 2 floors in the entire day. It has a good variety of food, from a mc dona

[Mikesh, 09/11/2011] A good way to beat all the traffic in bangkok. Easy to follow and have information counters at the station if help is required. The trains have a map of the line, some of them have electronic maps, showing the present station and the next in the line. Overall just like a normal metro train in other cites, only difference it is in the sky.
[Mikesh, 05/11/2011] They have a night market here, which has some good street shopping. We found a lot of the items cheaper than MBK and better. Of course there wasn't such a mass variety as MBK. There were a lot of touts trying to get people to see the various sex shows in the bars. Also along the main road, there were people selling porno movies and sex toys. There were also a lot of prostitutes(male and female) all along this road. Overall we finished looking at this market in about 2-3 hours(a lot of shopping) and then went to the haagen daz for some nice dessert. There was also a Starbucks for the coffee lov

[Mikesh, 01/11/2011] It is an excellent 3 / 4 star hotel. The hotel is in the end of Soi 8 lane so it can be a walk to the main road but they have a free tuk tuk service which is awesome. The rooms are small, cute and cozy. The hotel staff was very sweet and helpful and went out of their way to service us. The hotel is situated right near the sky train station(the station is outside the lane) and you can call the hotel and they will send the tuk tuk for you at the end of the lane. The lane in which it is situated in is really nice as it has your usual hotels and eating joints also we didnt spot any hookers. The only

[sameh111, 01/11/2011] From more places that impressed me in Thailand Siam Ocean World . I saw a strange species of fish or a lot that did not see it before . I'm afraid a lot of diving in the water with sharks, but I saw the finest views of distant but a bit fearful . This was the first time I saw sharks and penguins so close , It also was very expensive but we got a special discount on our journey . I claimed everyone to go there where the big fun.
[stratford, 04/10/2011] We have been visiting this hotel a few times ,but recently we been treated very rudly by the reception staff. We booked a room, got confirmation from the hotel and when we arrived they pretended that they know nothing about it. The room we reserved, was NO SMOKING but, it was filthy, Ash all over the carpet and the room smelled only smoke. The bath was not cleaned by the hotel staff and you dare not complain at the duty manager. The porters at the front door is chasing you to, only use their service, if you say NO they then get agressive.
Never stay there again!
[bondy007, 14/08/2011] Great hotel, great rooms, great location, great service. This hotel is in an excellent location for large shopping centres etc. I highly recommend this place. OH the pool on the roof top at the front building is fantastic.
[Supot, 24/07/2011] The Anantara Sathorn is in Narathiwat Road, a bit backwards from Sathorn Road. The hotel has two high buildings, one of these seems to be occupied mostly by condos. The staff at the front desk in the huge lobby is very friendly and check-in was fast. The room in the 32nd floor came with great views.
[cassandra_the_cat, 24/05/2011] Already when booking the Banyan Tree, you get excited about splurging yourself to a fantastic stay. When you are actually there, you experience complete harmony and luxury.
The Banyan Tree Bangkok exceeded even our high expectations.
[walbeck, 12/02/2011] The modern hotel right on the river with a wonderful terrace. They serve an incredible dinner buffet on this terrace and you have all this magic buzz on the river close to your table. Extremely friendly staff through out. Absolutely recommendable!
[submitth, 12/01/2011] The hotel staffs are very friendly always helps during my trip in bangkok, The service is the best that is the reason why i want to recommend the hotel to you all, The staffs speak english very good , service is very good. next time i would come back to visit your again .
[jl132, 11/12/2010] Welcome to the world of expensive suits. Too much luxury is not normally my cup of tea and. I do not see myself walking around in a hotel in a suit or a cocktail of 20 pounds at the finest Sky bar in the world. This time the offer was too good for me to be true. A good friend works for an airline as a co-pilot and is nearly every week a number of days at the lebua at State Tower hotel. When I arrived in Bangkok he offered to give shelter to me .. free. I naturally accepted this offer. Here I have felt like a king in Bangkok.

[fishbob, 11/07/2010] Stayed here for a few nights while backpacking through Thailand. I've been to Bangkok before, but I had stayed at a different hostel. I ended up staying at the Sawasdee Khaosan Inn on the recommendation of a friend who had stayed there previously.
In turn, I'd like to recommend it myself to anyone looking for a nice place in Bangkok! Typical of Thai hospitality, the staff was very warm and friendly, and the rooms were very high quality compared to what you would get in a similar priced hotel in Europe.
There's a shuttle bus to the airport very close to the hotel, which is very convenient, an
