Cabbages and Condoms is a uniquely themed restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand, that, as the name implies, makes extensive use of condoms to draw crowds. Their usage is extremely clever, and upon entering the restaurant, guests come immediately face to face with numerous 'sculptures' and mannequins made up entirely of condoms and condom packages. Lanterns and wall hangings are also made in this manner.
This may sound farfetched, but the restaurant is extremely popular, and is always near full capacity. The food itself is fantastic, authentic Thai cuisine, and also caters to more Western tastes should this be desired.
As far as ambiances go, the Cabbages and Condoms restaurant is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and should not be missed. There is no harm in bringing the kids, since nothing is explicit or overly inappropriate.
Highlight of the meal for me: receiving an assortment of condoms with the bill instead of an after-dinner mint.
