Loch Kinord Hotel is an excellent 2 star superior property built in the late 1800\'s and was originally an up market hotel for wealthy fishermen, stalkers and travelers. It was previously called ",The Profeits Hotel", being built for the 2 nieces of Queen Victoria\'s doctor - Doctor Profeit. Nowadays, with the demand for en-suite accommodation, the rooms are smaller to accommodate bathrooms, however, it is still a popular destination for fishers, stalkers and tourists.The hotel has just become one of the few hotels in the Grampian and RoyalDeeside area to achieve the AA Rosette award for excellence in its cuisine.The elegantly decorated restaurant was recently refurbished to give a more formal, yet relaxed environment, in which to enjoy the menus. There is also an open fire, which, together with the candlelit tables, gives the ideal venue for a romantic meal or special occasion.

This historical hotel was built in 1885 and renovated in 2004. The hotel comprises a total of 2 floors with 21 rooms of which 1 is a suite, 1 is a single room and 19 are double rooms.
