Discovered by Lady Hamlyn in 1987 in a derelict state, she painstakingly restored the ch?teau to its former glory with alot of energy and vision, revealing Renaissance wall and ceiling paintings created during the ch?teau's finest period when nearby Lyon was one of Europe's great Renaissance cities. Built 1217, renovated 1992. 21 rooms, 2 floors.
