The Swabian Mountains, the Danube valley and the Black Forest are located very near to the hotel. Lake Constance and the island Mainau as well as Switzerland, Alsace and Breisgau are interesting destinations for a day trip. There are also various adventure and leisure parks nearby as well as waterfalls, lakes, caves and canyons.
From the A81 motorway
- Take the exit for Bad Duerrheim / Donaueschingen. Follow the road for about 5 km and you will see the hotel.
Or you can take one of four highways which lead directly to Bad Duerrheim:
-B 27 from Stuttgart or Schaffhausen.
-B 33 from Strasbourg and Offenburg.
-B 31 from Basle and Freiburg.
-B 311 from Ulm and Tuttlingen.
- Once in Bad Duerrheim drive towards the center, where you will find the Spa facilities and "Solemar".
- At the "Kurhaus" (Spa house) you leave the Luisenstrasse, turning left onto Waldstrasse.
- Carry straight on for 200 metres and you will see the hotel.
