[Fritzthecat, 30/06/2008] Ted Marcus offers information and photos about the various sights the "city of the Popes" has to offer. To be seen are images of the Palace of the Pope, the Pont St-Bénézet, better known as the Pont D'Avignon from the children's song and of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Every photo comes with a description and information on the history of the sight that is shown and can be enlarged.

[squidge, 21/05/2008] After having seen the city map, on this private website, its author, the photographer Mr. Frysinger, takes us on a trip around the town, starting with a guided tour in the "little train". A link leads to photographs around the town, whereas the page continues with the famous "pont d'Avignon", followed by the Papal palace, seat of the popes in the 14th century.
The page ends with photos taken through time, and yet another link to more photos.
