Hotel de la Mirande was originally the private residence of one of the leading families of Avignon for over 200 years. Its 18th century interiors have now been meticulously restored with magnificent antiques and a fine collection of old master paintings and china. The Popes Palace is just across the street and many bedrooms enjoy breathtaking views of this world-famous monument. The restaurant, an impressive room with 15th century wood-beamed ceilings, features classic French cuisine. Hotel is entirely air-conditioned and has a private under-ground car park.
