[tobytucker, 01/02/2012] Jumped off the train, walked up William street and went left down into Francis st. Entered easy Perth Backpackers reception, checked in, made my bed, stored my gear, went downstairs, made some friends, went to the pub, had a few beers, met a girl and now we are travelling together!!
[katsquee, 24/01/2012] it was amazing! the privit room was lovely and the garden was so pretty with the out door shower and bath. my host were also brilliant. always happy to help me out and were warm and friendly. will be back soon as i absolutly loved the place.
[PaulainItaly, 22/01/2012] We enjoyed everything about the Pink Flamingo. The privacy and comfort of our villa was much appreciated. The 'Girls" were always available and happy to assist us with our questions and planning. It was more personal then the larger hotels which what we were looking for.
I thought the pricing was also very fair. Would stay here again without hesitation.
[OliverYUL, 06/01/2012] - Very personal service (pre-arrival and during our stay). The owners arranged all our excursions in advance and were always available during our stay.
- Clean, private, spacious "villas".
- Easy 20 minute walk to center of town.
- Great value for the money.
[Annabelh, 30/12/2011] Wow - third time we've stayed and the quality, style, funkiness, relaxed atmosphere is still the same. Couples only, no children, pet friendly. Perfect.
[dorass, 12/12/2011] Stayed a couple of nights having flown in from the UK. Arrived early and had pre-arranged an early check-in (5am) which was thankfully ready. Staff very friendly and helpful, great good free light breakfast daily!!!.location . is only a 8minute leisurely walk to queen street & the University of Auckland. and other attractions in downtown Auckland. Less than 10 minutes walk the domain and lots of restaurants / cafes. Very modern & secured hotel apartments accommodation at very good weekly rate-Nice and quiet and nothing bad to say at all.
[TravelAus, 10/12/2011] The staff where helpful and friendly, the cleaners do a wonderful job! All of the interiors and furnishings are modern and stylish. Would not hesitate to stay again!
[Aldo26, 30/11/2011] Nice hotel in the middle of the australian rainforest... which is good for isolation and rest, and bad for trips to the great grand barrier and Cairns...
The hotel has a half an hour transport to Port Douglas (last bus at 17:00).
Nice rooms but I kept finding cockroaches.. I know it's the rainforest but it is supposed to be a five star hotel...
Nice breakfast place up river Mossman, really bucolic.
[tinadanyi, 30/11/2011] I love this place. It is so relaxing with your own personal Villa and beautiful surrounding gardens. There is a great pool area and the staff are so wonderful and helpful.
The little personal touches really make you feel at home, such as plunger coffee in your room, dvds and cds you can borrow, bbq you can use in your own villa, bath salts for your outdoor bath and much more - and all for free!
I have been twice and want to go again. I would recommend the Pink Flamingo to anyone staying in Port Douglas!
[Aldo26, 25/11/2011] Great location, parking included. Chimney in the lobby, big room and big bathroom. Nice looking from the outside, minutes away from the city centre.
Good breakfast buffet.
[Aldo26, 25/11/2011] Marvelous hotel with cozy bedrooms and great breakfast. Amazing views of the blue mountains, I really rested there and the spa was soooo good! I really recommend it to spend a few moments away from the world.
[Aldo26, 25/11/2011] Luxurious hotel, all inclusive (meals, trips to Uluru and Kata-Tjuta, beverages from the bar...). Amazing days those we spent there, people were really nice and friendly, the ambiance at the hotel was the best ever.
It's worth every penny!! Loved it!
[Aldo26, 25/11/2011] Great hotel, amazing overwater room.
Great food, great people, great swimming pool and coctails.
I would totally recommend it to spend a few days in paradise.
It has a boat to go to Vaitape, just book it the day before.
[clarkee73, 08/11/2011] I went here some years ago and now have a 300 degree picture of the view.
WOW!
[solstice1, 29/09/2011] Wonderful hosts (there when you needed them), fabulous inside outside living (great bead, bathroom and shower), exquisite garden, ground and pool. Had a great relaxing time and would recommend as one of the best in PT Douglas.
[katrinaw, 22/09/2011] Great smaller resort that caters for pets as well. We recently stayed for 3 days and took our very large female dog - who was very welcomed as she is well behaved. Everything was perfect from lovely big clean rooms, a huge king size bed and lots of little extras to make sure our stay was a happy one.
[catsholiday, 02/09/2011] Sydney Wynyard Travelodge
The best thing about this hotel is its location which is within a very close walk of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House and extremely close to a metro station too. We walked all around the area sightseeing and everything was easily walk able. The metro took you further afield and you could also get the monorail from a stop further on the metro. This was how we travelled to find Paddington, Paddy’s market and other areas you might want to explore.
This is a modern rather plain looking building and within the hotel there are 275 rooms and being a Travelodge is part of

[catsholiday, 01/09/2011] ARRIVING:
We arrived in Pape ‘ete from Brisbane via Auckland at 1am local time the same day as we had left Brisbane about 14 hours earlier at 11.15am! We had two Oct 21st which was very strange as we crossed the International Date Line. It was however a very long day so we pleased to arrive at the hotel.
The pickup from Fa’aa airport went smoothly and we were greeted with a lovely scented flower lei and a group of local singers serenading us as we went through passport control and collected our bags. The lei incidentally still smelt lovely in our room on the day we left five days later so the

[markjohnstone007, 30/08/2011] I stayed here recently - is a dump. Is dirty and poor staff morale. Much better places to stay on the Gold Coast.
[preecep, 12/08/2011] We loved the concept of the Pink Flamingo with open plan, kitchen and garden. Such friendly service as well.
