[dorass, 12/12/2011] Stayed a couple of nights having flown in from the UK. Arrived early and had pre-arranged an early check-in (5am) which was thankfully ready. Staff very friendly and helpful, great good free light breakfast daily!!!.location . is only a 8minute leisurely walk to queen street & the University of Auckland. and other attractions in downtown Auckland. Less than 10 minutes walk the domain and lots of restaurants / cafes. Very modern & secured hotel apartments accommodation at very good weekly rate-Nice and quiet and nothing bad to say at all.
[sonnydale, 14/05/2011] The location of St Martins waldorf is excellent. Just around the corner from the Hospital and University . it was close to a range of well priced restaurants, and downtown generally, but in a quiet street.
Our apartment was a spacious 2 bedroom apartment, with all we needed- a kitchenette with laundry, very comfortable good quality king sized bed, and an excellent bathroom. All fittings and furnishings seemed almost brand new, and were in pleasant design.
The free breakfast kit was very satisfactory and of good quality, with a couple of slices of bread to toast, cereal, juice and milk,Yougur

[Glifo, 11/03/2011] It is a little hotel on the front-line of one of the more trafficked central roads of Auckland downtown so the rooms are a bit noisy although good and well equipped. It is at a walking distance from the Auckland tower where if you like you can take the lift and dine in the restaurant at the top. It is conveniently located in the zone of restaurants where the majority of them are Japanese (most are imitations run by Koreans) , Chines and Korean (authentic) restaurants , but I suggest by walking on the same side of the hotel to reach at 100 meters uphill a real and excellent French restaurant r

[ChloeCoop, 16/08/2010] Although we had our room booked and paid for 3 months in advance, requesting both a balcony and a smoking room, we recieved neither. when we arrived, we asked why this was the case and we were told that all of those rooms were booked. On arrival, one particular staff member was extremely rude, in both tone and when answering our valid questions (about parking, etc). We went out on the saturday night, and did our best to keep the noise down before we left (at around 11pm), and as we got no call of complaint, we assumed we had done so. However, when we were packing up to leave, the peviously men

[jet1203, 04/08/2010] I travel to Auckland from the Far North. Hotel Haspar is easy to find, has great parking, no traffic noise and is in a great central location. The receptionist is friendly and welcoming. More so than most motels or hotels I have stayed at. The rooms provide the basics, which is all I require. There is a lovely courtyard, which would make this a good option for group bookings to mingle. I would recommend this Hotel and do to anybody who is staying in Auckland. This is now my accommodation of choice. Thankyou for making my trips so great.

[fitzpatrickken, 17/07/2010] Stayed here a couple of years ago on a tour of New Zealand.
The hotel was very grubby & in need of refurbishment. It is a shame that a hotel in such a great location does not have more to offer.
Won't be back!
[Buddyxx, 17/03/2010] We stayed here for our first 3 nights in New Zealand and couldn't fault it in any way. We had a suite with separate bedroom entirely enclosed in glass with sliding doors, a balcony with chairs, a lounge area with sofa, a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine and tumble dryer in the bathroom. The hotel is a new build I believe and the furnishings were clearly new with no wear and tear.
There is one restaurant in the building and there are additional 2 just out the back for breakfast etc, but I imagine most people staying here will want to have dinner at the Waterfront, which is a level

[Rossy7777, 26/11/2009] As a family of 5 we usually find it complicated to have spacious accommodation to cater for all ou us rather than take 2 hotel rooms. We found it in Stadium Auckland Serviced apartment during our recent 2 weeks stay.
Our 3 bedroom apartment was large (about 90 sq.m), with 3 bedrooms, full kitchen & laundry- pity it had only 1 bathroom.
The apartments are very modern & luxurious with most of the appliances we have at home as well as very good high speed internet service at a charge of only $20 per week.
We had SKY TV service (pity that they do not have more children channel and so many spiort c

[Rossy7777, 26/11/2009] Scene Waldorf Apartment location was great. Near most of Auckand City & waterfront location and about 50 m from 24 / 7 huge supermarket & variety of takeaway & food outlets. Our 3 bedroom apartment was large, vey spacious, nodern well equipped with graet veranda & water views. It was very suitable and comfortable for a arge family of 5. The apartment was serviced & cleaned weekly and we had good free parking & internet service. Very modern & secured complex in a great location!!!!
[davidgross98, 23/11/2009] We stayed in St. Martins Waldorf Apartments hotel for 6 nights Secured, spacious 2 bedroom apartment accommodation with full kitchen, internal laundry , internet service and veranda with good view from our veranda.Initally we booked because we wanted to visit our uncle who is in Auckland hospital which was 700 m from the hotel.
What we found after arrival is that the complex location was great- walking to the Domain & Newmarket areas and still only 600 m from Auckland Uni that my son attended a short course. Very helpfull front desk service and the daily rate we paid was very good compared t

[D1984, 23/06/2009] Me and My Girlfriend went here for some time away, and came back very disappointed! Firstly the rooms were NOTHING like what is shown in the photos! The rooms were tiny and the bathroom is so small we were astonished! The TV was a tiny LCD screen and the service at the reception was very unwelcoming and a particular "LUKE" received us very badly in the morning with a particular rudeness! Would never go there again, and I'd recommend booking another place if you are looking for a bit of space in the room! And also, the window was impossible to open, it required a attachment that looked like a w

[annaroos1, 14/08/2006] I enjoyed the time I spent at the Carlton and found the hotel a good base for exploring Auckland although I found the room and the general feel of the hotel a little bit impersonal. It is clearly designed to appeal to as many different types of people as possible, and whereas I think they have succeded in this it has also lost some charm potential with it. However, this is a minor point in an otherwise more than pleasant stay.
