Turner Field is named after Ted Turner, one time owner of the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Hawks professional sports franchises. He also owns major American television networks like CNN and TBS and TNT. And doesn't he own Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and AOL or something?
