A characteristic hotel in the city’s historic center, just 80 meters from the San Rufino Cathedral and near to the main city square, the Piazza del Comune, as well as to the Piazza Matteotti parking lot, the San Rufino Hotel stands where there was once a group of medieval houses, now entirely restructured.

Its smaller, sister hotel, "Il Duomo” (The Cathedral), adjacent to the principle structure, is on the San Lorenzo stairway which leads to the Rocca Maggiore (the Great Castle).
