Archangelos

This is our second time here. The hotel is a nice small family run hotel of 30 or so rooms. Its located in the village of Archangelos, which is the biggest village on Rhodes. There are a number of restaurants and bars in the village. We've not found one bad restaurant that we ate. Try Mavrios Tavern the portions there are like supersized, and its really cheap, too. The hotel and the rooms are spotless, they are cleaned on a daily basis. There is a pool which is very clean and with free sunbeds. The rooms are your basic self catering rooms and all have balconies. It was cool this time in May but 2 years ago when we went in July it was unbearable so if you are there in mid summer you'll need A/C. We booked again for 2008 in May cause its really cheap £199 for a week for the 3 of us.
