I stayed here in March 2009. We opted for a room that had a private bathroom, but shared bathrooms were available as well for a bit less. We paid Q150 per night for a double room. The staff was incredibly helpful (though none spoke English), and the common areas are very well taken care of. There are two kitchens to share, a fantastic rooftop to lounge on, two TV areas, free WiFi internet (as well as two computers that you can use for free), and a travel agency in house to help book any shuttles you might want. The beds were comfortable, and they were nice enough to provide towels and a roll of toilet paper (which is fairly uncommon in Guatemala.) Ummagumma is very easy to find and a very short walk from both the central park and the market. And let's be honest, it's a really fun name to say :)
