[LarsDanmark, 28/02/2010] Stayed a couple of nights in October 2009 - at Jamelah Apartments and Guesthouse. Very friendly staff - and excellent value for money. Convenient as a Mahe base, to be close to airport. Literally a few steps off great beach / water - also for kids, and some nice restaurants around.

Although I was apprehensive about staying at the most affordable place on Mahe, I found the Lalla Panzi guest house to be very comfortable and pleasant. There are only four rooms-so the place feels like a home. Therese, the owner / manager is warm and helpful. All of the island's sites are easy to reach by bus. If I go back to the seychelles I'll stay there again. The breakfasts were the most generous meals that I had on the island.

The housekeepers were also unusually friendly and did a fantastic job everyday. (Just don't leave your fo
