We stayed ten days at Blue Lagoon in Anse La Mouche.
The chalets are fine. The Seychelles are fantastic.
You have to know that there is virtually no beachin Anse La Mouche.
And you have to cross the road to bath.
Our daughter was bitten by sea urchin twise when swimming there.
There are restaurants around but the mini shop is difficult to handle as they only speak creole there, so you need a car to go to supermarket.
The owners of the chalets are weird.
Of course they pick you up and bring you back to the airport.
But they only offered to lend us shovels and buckets for the kids on the last day.
The day before they had offered a card to buy better quality food. As hotel owner, they are allowed to shop at better prices in Victoria.
Also, they charged us for two broken glasses. To us, this is collateral damage when you rent a place. And at €200 a night, you would expect that this sort of issues could be handled with.
It is sad but with them, everything comes with an extra price, nothing is free and furthermore, they only tell you afterwards that they could have helped. Air Con is in addition to the 200€ a night. We had to request mosquito nets. The cook is not expensive 10€ a night but you need to nuy her all the ingredients, which you do not want to buy for a one week holiday: spices, onions, etc... and you do not know what she needs anyway to cook something local...
Te maid looking after us was not very nice. Nothing to complain about but not somebody we would have liked to hire for ourselves.
It is a shame they act this way.
No way to build a personnal rapport. They are here to take your money. A real shame!
