[sian, 25/11/2008] The Sandbar is a great restaurant / bar by Anna Maria Beach on Anna Maria Island.
The Sandbar is great place to go to during the day especially as the lunch menu is a lot cheaper than dinner. I would recommend the calamari, which can be shared as with most American restaurants the servings are huge.
At night the Sandbar is also a great place to go to see the sunset. They sell a wide range of cocktails and they have beach chairs overlooking the sea which is a great place to relax and just forget about everything.
