[Walo, 28/04/2010] Just for a one night stay it was okay. You have to check in by using a kind of ATM machine.
If you draw the curtain to look out you find only a black wall with the written sentence "Just close your eyes and imagine...". My room has no window at all!
[sahux, 02/03/2010] We chose QBIC hotel due to the interesting looking rooms and the unbeatable rate and we dind't get disappointed: The rooms are awesome, staff is always friendly and very helpful, it is clean, quiet and the rooms just make you smile.
Only not-so-perfect thing was...
Parking...in Amsterdam always terrible, but here you at least get a discount on parking in the WTC (29€ instead of 75€ a day) so you can't really blame it on the hotel. (Consider Munich or London...)
Little hint: Get a double-room only with people you know very well, as the "bathroom" has no door and is part of the bed-cube...

[trivago traveller, 17/02/2010] Best value for money I have ever had. Amazing bed, cosy rooms and really good wireless. This is the perfect choice for a young couple or someone travelling in business. It is close to the airport, the trams stop just outside the WTC and the south trainstation is just next to it.
The design of the rooms is really clean and cool. The staff was so helpful and nice, I am recommending it for everyone who wants to have a nice stay in Amsterdam.
[trivago traveller, 26/01/2010] I WAS TRULY SATISFIED AND CONTENT WITH MY STAY AT THE QBIC- ITS NOT IN THE SCENIC PART OF AMSTERDAM- BUT VERY EASILY LINKED VIA TRANSPORT SO JUST A FEW MINS AWAY ON TRAM FROM ALL THE COOL PLACES, AND AS SOON AS YOU GET TO THE ROOM IT FEELS QUITE CHIC AND LUXURY. THE HOTEL STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY- AND ALTHOUGH ITS VERY MUCH SELF-SERVICE, THEY DID OFFER US A HEATER AND EXTRA BLANKET WHEN WE SAID THE ROOM WAS A BIT COLD ON A SNOWY EVENING.
I WAS ON A BUSINESS TRIP, AND FOR ME THIS HOTEL WAS PERFECT, CLEAN - NICE TO LOOK AT, AND A GOOD LOCATION- ALSO THE CUBES HAD A COSY FEELING AS

[trivago traveller, 26/01/2010] Qbic offered excellent value for money, rooms were clean and as described. Transport links were very good, close to the airport and good pulbic transport . I'm not sure what people are expecting for the price they pay but it is certainly worth it.
[trivago traveller, 29/12/2009] Oh, Qbic hotel was a very bad experience. Check-in didn't work, it was very cold in the room (no regulation possible), no ventilation (condensation drops everywhere), shower was very poor, water splashed all over the place...bathroomfloor allways wet and very very cold. Design hotel?? Only some lights in the hall and in the room . People who want a design hotel, same price, but everything very nice...go to CitizenM hotel, 300 m from Qbic
[pschilt1, 08/12/2009] The hotel looked good in the first place, as soon as i went to bed trouble started! The bed was very uncomfortable.. not the same matress u see on the picture! No ventilation in the room and no option to regulate the climate in the room... no airco... no fresh air?! It got very very warm and the air was so dry it felt i had been sleeping next to a heating. Also there is a employee exit that they are using all night thru!? Very load banging of the door all night and people smoking, talking load and making lots of noise. The price was definitley not right for a sleepless and very bad night.
[trivago traveller, 24/11/2009] Unique room-design. Very comfortable bed. Couldn´t be better.
[tictactoe, 17/11/2009] Qbic Hotels is one of the few of the pod hotels coming up more and more in Europe.
Chic , classy , comfortable designed for the modern Internet savvy traveler is just ideal for business - add to that a great location at the World Trade Center -easy to get to the airport or the city.
Very hospitable to needs of guests - provided me a hot air blower on request - just no issues ..
Particular mention is deserved by one of their new executive staff -"Michelle" who's hospitability, cheerfulness and knowledge of Amsterdam's hidden hotspots is second to none ...Thank you Michelle for all making peop

[trivago traveller, 21/10/2009] This was a very interesting hotel overall. We were not sure what to expect but it turned out to be a great place for the price. It was well located near all public transportation options for Amsterdam. It is a short ride from the airport and downtown. The bed were very comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions. I would definitely stay here again. It is not your usual hotel but take a chance, you might like it too!

trivago traveller, 28/08/2009] The room was really cool. It had staff at all times unlike the reviews I had read about it. And it was nice to have them there to ask questions as we were new to Amsterdam. They were very nice and very helpful. It wasn't as close to the very downtown area like I had assumed, but very close to public transportation. Was great unless you like to stay out super late like we do because the public transportation system closes down at midnight. A taxi back to the hotel can be a bit expensive. Normally about 20 Euros. However, it is really close to the airport. Just a short (cheap) train ride away. T

[groningen, 17/08/2009] The hotel was advertised as a luxurious design-hotel. It was not.
The design was nice, the bed was great, the shower was nice, as was the breakfast. The room was very small, though. There was no door in the bathroom, leaving your roommate embarrassed when using it...
Also the room was all but clean on arrival; hair still in the shower and dirt on the floor. The bed lights did not work, neither did the adjustable led-system. This left us with either a red light, or hardly any lights at all.
Staff was friendly, though, but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
[sylvia1975, 23/07/2009] We had a very nice stay at Qbic hotels in Amsterdam. The self-service experience is good. And if you have questions there is always someone to answer them. The room was very nice (the only thing we missed was daylight :-() and clean. In the living room you can serve yourself a cup of coffee or tea and in the morning there is a nice breakfast. The hotel is also close to train Station Zuid so that is also very nice! When we need to be in Amsterdam again we will come back!

[NY-Paris-Amsterdam, 04/04/2008] I am top rating this property simply because this is an experience on it's own, the design is a must see. It's not too expensive, has a good location, and I slept so well.
