Only a few minutes walk from the Central Station a cosy hostel at the famous shopping street Nieuwendijk, with a lot of restaurants, bars and coffeeshops. Since we are located in the centre of town near the CS with all its connections our hostel offers you a lot of possibilities to explore our city. Just walk, rent a bike, or take a bus, tram, subway or canalboat to visit a site. And if you like to see other places in the surrounding area the travelling time is limited, so you'll have ample opportunities to discover our country's peculiarities.Since 1988 we accommodate guests from all over the world, both young and old, mainly backpackers. Every room/dorm has its own en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet, a towel and bed linen are included. In the lobby we serve hot and cold drinks. There is a pooltable and you can make use of free Wi-Fi and internet (pay by hour).Taxes are included in the price.Warning: One should not expect a trendy fashionable clean dutch design hostel. Aroza isn't. We just do our best to give you the basics at low price. We try to be flexible, but with only 9 rooms it might be not easy sometimes to fullfill all your wishes.There are lockers available for those who booked in shared rooms (buy a lock or bring your own) as well as a free safety deposit box behind the desk to keep small valuables.We are happy to take your reservation.N.B.Please take notice while booking:Our 'female dorm' is for girls only. If you are a male person, please, avoid booking in this dorm. Female persons should avoid booking in the 'male dorm'. Your booking will not be accepted by us, allthough we shall try to move you into an other room if you've made the mistake. If your booking is cancelled by us because we cannot offer you an alternative your reservation costs will not be restituted to you.Cancelation:In case of cancelation within 48 hours of arrival or in case of no show we have to charge you on your credit card for the first day of your reservation.And according to the conditions of Hostelsclubs' booking engine the 10% 'reservation costs' and 2 euros 'fee' are not refundable if you cancel the booking, no matter at what time.
