We are just back from a 3 night stay at A-Train Hotel. The hotel is across from Central Station which is about 10-15 minutes train journey from the Airport. The train costs 3.80 each single trip. Some of ticket machines use Credit Cards only, others take coins. Don't get a return ticket unless you use it on the same day. The staff in the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast is good. Two different types of cheeses, ham, eggs, Cereals, juices and a few different types of bread and a toaster. The bedrooms are absolutely tiny. Two very small single beds. There was a television in the room, a small wardrobe and the use of the safe was free of charge which was good. There was also free internet in the breakfast room. The hotel is a bit pricey but is in an excellent location. There is no bar in this hotel but plenty bars all around. I would certainly recommend the hotel even though the bedroom was tiny but who wants to spend time in the bedroom when you are in Amsterdam!! Everything was perfect and spotlessly clean with towels and linen changed every day. If we go back to Amsterdam again we will certainly stay at the A-Train Hotel. A Farrell, Dublin, Ireland
