[jarger74, 02/01/2011] clean , fair rate , food very good
[MarkinAmman, 24/08/2010] I don't know whether I went to the same restaurant as some of my fellow reviewers. All I can say is don't believe the hype!
The quality of food is run-of-the-mill AT BEST, at worst it was clumsy, lazy (Fungi Saltiti) and genuinely unpleasant (an incredbly cloying creme brulee).
I would suggest to anyone who is thinking of going here not to bother unless they want to be ripped off for eating distinctly average cuisine.
I realise that Amman is not Paris or London but to me a meal to the tune of JD100 (c.USD150) for 2 should be memorable for all the right reasons, the only reason I would remember

[HananBustani, 05/05/2010] I booked a bed in a drom at Farah Hotel for one day, i found out the hotel is very nice, in particular the staff who are helpfull and have a good command of english, they can tell you where and how to get to any place of intrest.
the hotel is clean and there is hot water all the time.
The location is in downtown of amman, the old city which was close to many places.
I enjoyed my stay there and I recommend this hostel to these: backpackers, students and groups.
The rates are cheap and meet all budgets.
you can join tours from the hotel with other travelers to Petra, Madaba, Dead sea, Ajlou

[ranger, 07/01/2009] I have been in Jordan in a business trip in December 2008, and I stayed a the crown plaza,
For my experience, it was a comfortable stay:
Strength;
The breakfast was included (buffet) and there were verity of delicious bakery / cake, fresh salad and sliced mortedilla also there is a chief in the middle of the buffet bar to prepare hot egg, just the way you order it. It was yummy.
Tea, fresh coffee, fresh juice, milk and mineral water are all available.
The staff are very polite, helpful, professional, and speaking very well English language.
Built-in shopping mall.

[ranger, 07/01/2009] I've been there and experiance, the low quality at high prices
[Katieshaz, 30/09/2007] I stayed here whilst on an airline training course. Luckily I wasn't paying for it!
About the hotel:
Apparently it's a four star but I'd personally give it three stars. The website boasts of the luxury and how it's located in a prime part of Jordan. It's actually located at the Fourth Circle and is 30 minutes from the airport. It's a 10-minute drive to the city centre, not walk. The area around the hotel is surrounded by busy roads and broken pavements, the only way to go anyway is to hail a taxi and try not to get run over!
First Impressions:
It seems a bit run down. You walk in past
