[alexomeiser, 23/03/2011] Spent the weekend at Ambassador- Amarillo recently and the staff was outstanding during our stay - very helpful and friendly. Check in was quick and easy, the door man asked about our plans and offered advice, printed additional maps, etc. Really above and beyond.
The hotel is an older property but is super clean, well- kept, and offers great amenities. We stayed on the 10th floor (the Cattle Barron level), and while it was a tad more money breakfast and evening appetizers & adult beverages are included for guests on that floor. We enjoyed that the Cattle Barron Lounge was on the same floo

[cemartin15, 18/10/2010] I’m a Dad on my own with two kids. We live near Amarillo, and this is our third trip to the Ambassador Hotel. It is just right for us! This trip was especially nice for me because the hotel was offering a very affordable “back to school package. What a great way to end our summer.
The kids thought the “goodie bags with snacks & activities were cool, but really loved that the pool hours were extended. What really worked for my wallet was that our package included 2 kid’s dinners at the TGI Friday’s in the hotel, and two discount tickets to the kids’ favorite places.Wonderland Park and the D

[tjashford, 02/03/2010] We are a family with two children, ages 5 & 7 and have stayed at the Ambassador Hotel many times through the years. In Amarillo, by far this is the best bet. During our stays the rooms have always been clean and nicely decorated. Even before they remodeled a few years back the rooms were nice. Beds are comfortable and it’s a great place to call home while in Amarillo.
Our children love staying at the Ambassador, and actually look forward to stopping here on our way to New Mexico. Swimming in the indoor pool is the highlight of their trip. Service is excellent. Made service is reliable, and

[landoneasttx, 09/11/2009] Stayed at the Ambassador Hotel-Amarillo when I went to visit my daughter at college. She and two friends came and stayed with me, and all were pleased. Arrived about 10 pm on Friday night and was greeted very warmly by the staff. Knowing I would need a room large enough for four, I booked one of the suites that are located on their Concierge Level. Our suite was very spacious and well-appointed. The girls had a separate bedroom with double beds and we so enjoyed having a separate living area to hang out in. One evening we decided to stay in, watch movies, and order room service. It is my

[mnicoled32, 09/09/2009] We went to the Ambassador Hotel in Amarillo for the wedding of my sister. What a great experience! I even got to help her with some of the planning, and the staff was great to work with. The wedding was flawless from beginning to end, and the food was excellent. The guestrooms for those of us who stayed were quite spacious and comfortable. Our other family and friends were really happy with their rooms and the kind service we received.
While Amarillo had other interesting options, like wedding halls and such, going with a hotel is so much better. Everyone gets to stay there, we were

[jnedobson, 03/07/2009] My husband travels frequently for business, and stays at the Ambassador Hotel in Amarillo. With our hectic work schedules, we decided to combine a business trip with a romantic get-a-away for our fifth anniversary. I thought the Ambassador Hotel Amarillo would be a good choice since it looked so nice and inviting on the website, and my husband said he found the rooms comfortable and the staff very friendly.
To celebrate this special occasion, I was surprised with a romantic package. Our room was on their club level and had a king bed and large leather sofa. When we got to our room, the
