Francs is one of those restaurants you come across now and again that you have known was there for ages and then when you finally visit you think 'Why have I not been here before now!'

It's a restaurant that you keep for special occasions - not because it's expensive - far from it in fact but, simply because it's so nice it's worth saving for those dates in your dairy that mean a lot and you want to go somewhere that you love without going too often that it doesn't feel special anymore!

The food is good with a variety of dishes and Francs do a variety of special offers the most popular being the early dining menu which is under £10 per person for a two course meal.

The ambiance is always very relaxed and the staff follow this vibe without being bad at their job. They are friendly, polite and the service is excellent always in here.

It looks actually really tiny from outside and it's not that is suddenly becomes much bigger once you enter but it is definitely bigger than it looks outside. It is nice that it's not overly large as it means more intimate dining and more recently they now have live jazz on certain days of the week making it a truly wonderful evening out for a meal. The restaurants location also adds to the feel as it is down a little side street in an area of Altrincham called Goose Green, where all the pavements are cobbled and the street is lit up with old fashioned lamp posts - it all adds to the atmosphere!

The restaurant can also cater for outside dining and if you wish to find out more about this then have a look on their website.
