[johnfondo, 20/01/2011] I have used the Hotel Tschurtschenthaler for many years as a base during winter for cross country skiing. Last summer I also stayed there for cycling and walking in the Dolomites. Its traditional, family run, friendly, comfortable and good value. A good breakfast buffet is provided and an excellent 5 course evening meal comes with half board. Its centrally located between old and new Toblach with a citybus stop outside that takes you to the train and bus stations, ski lifts etc. and there are plenty of shops, cafes and bars nearby.
