[marystar, 14/11/2009] The setting is amazing: it was wonderful to wake up and see mountains all around as well as eating the excellent meals outside. Their was a good range of dishes and well presented in generous portions.
The rooms are all beautifully set out and individually furnished in different colours and styles. The welcome was so warm and personal and helpful advice and instruction were given to help plan days out.
[DORISH, 14/08/2009] What a lovely holiday we had at Fuegoblanco, a small hotel in a tranquil area among orange and lemon trees and full of charm from its delightful entrance to the comfortable bedrooms and spotless bathrooms.
With maps and information provided by the Hotel we found lovely walks in the surrounding areas. We also walked to the pretty town of Alora (though only minutes by car it is quite along walk) where we found shops,bars and restaurants and a frequent train service to Malaga which is well worth a visist.

[Sheilahaw, 15/07/2009] There are so many things I liked about this part of Spain and Fuegoblanco that I could go on at length. But I personally get bored wading through long reviews so here are the top two.
The location. Fuegoblanco is in a wonderful peaceful spot - often the only thing you can hear is bird or frog song (Yes, the frogs in the nearby river can be very vocal!). But although it is a real country retreat there are amazing places to go walking, get a bit of culture, or laze around beside azure lakes. A visit to the gorge or Antequerra are musts.
