Amrâth Hotel Alkmaar lies in the historic centre of Alkmaar. The hotel opened its doors in 2005 and offers a high standard of comfort to business as well as leisure guests. The city centre and train station of Alkmaar can be reached on foot in only 5 minutes.
Alkmaar is known for its cheese market and museum, but has lots more to offer. The city has beautiful monumental buildings, such as the Waag (weighhouse) and the large Sint Laurens church. Alkmaar is also known for its canals, attractive narrow streets, and the many courtyards. It has good connections to the larger cities in the area. For example, Amsterdam is only 40 minutes away by car or train.
