The building is located in the town of Aliaga, with good scenic views, and a private garden area with trees. On the ground floor is a restaurant with large wooden beams and various public rooms. Among them are a café, a spacious living room with fireplace and a television and a reading room. On the terraces of the hotel there are excellent views of the geological park. Guests have private parking available.
The rooms are on the first floor. Our hotel was renovated in 2009 / 2010, but renewal and extension is on-going. Currently we have nine rooms, all charming. The decoration combines wood and stone to give a more welcoming environment. The materials and decoration have been carefully chosen. Each room is unique and singular, but all are fully equipped: full bathroom (hair dryer, magnifying mirror, bathrobe), safe, mini-bar, ADSL, wireless, television, latex mattress, heating, air conditioning.
In our restaurant you can enjoy the traditional taste and quality of local products. Worth a special mention are roasts of lamb, marinades, game, stews, cheeses and of course, the ham. We have a varied menu, and seasonal suggestions.
The restaurant seats 100 people and is open all year except on Sundays.
The municipality of Aliaga has a population of 440. It is part of the region of Coalfield and nearby is the first Geopark in Spain. In the village are the remains of an ancient castle of the twelfth century and the historic buildings include some noble mansions, the Town Hall with its fish market and the Church of St. John the Baptist of the seventeenth century. It is worth visiting the shrine of the Virgen de la Zarza, the Barranco del Hocine, the Drummers Cascade, the Clear Cascade, the Juniper and Peñas de la Mort, or Mala Hoz.
