[Dalka, 25/07/2010] This summer, while in Antalya, I also went to the Archeological Museum that has 12 or 13 halls and different exhibits.
What I liked the most was the open air gallery. What I liked about this museum was the fact, that I can see the history of the Medditterenian and the overal area. We could see coins, fossils, animals, kitchen utensil and many more.
The classic hall included earthenware figurines, wine bowls, and dishes. You can also see a lot of clothes, toys, weapons and a lot of things from everyday life of the ancestors of the Turks.
Working hours are Monday-Saturday 10-21. Entrance is free

[brlog, 20/06/2009] Simple is the best. Nice hotel.
[rsunshine1973, 11/09/2008] This hotel was small basic and clean. Food ok but traditional Turkish dishes. Beach was nice, but beware of the big waves if you have small children. The reception staff were not very friendly and upon arrival you are asked if you want to rent a mini bar in your room this also includes paying for the drinks you use from it. If you do not rent this you are not allowed to bring any food or drinks in from outside and are expected to pay for them in the hotel. We were accussed of taking a beer from our mini bar as we did not use it and as we did not take it there was no apology!!!! You are expecte

[LORNA162, 21/08/2008] Orkide Hotel - 3 star ...... what a joke!!!
We booked our holiday through Barrhead Travel who stated that some of their operatives had stayed at the hotel and that it was lovely and we wouldn't be disappointed.
We arrived in Turkey to discover that we hadn't been informed along with most of the plane to have an English £10 for the Visa , Scottish notes were not acceptable.... we had to beg and swap with some other people to get the english notes.
On arrival at the Orkide hotel, the first impression was inspired by the tiny road with the stinking rubbish skips and litter everywhere. Ba

[linikee, 04/08/2008] the best hotel ;P
[onyxgirl, 31/07/2008] We felt like a fish out of water as we were the only english. One night even the entertainer was German, we were so disgusted that his jokes were in German that we left our table. Very noisy, you were trying to sleep with bang bang music early hours of the morning. Hotel is very clean and tidy and the maids do a marvelous job. We felt overpowered by the Germans, especially when other residents and even waiters started to speak to us in German. We also noticed in this hotel and the Park Beach Hotel next door that they had flags from all other countries except the UK. The Park Beach Hotel

[guest, 01/07/2008] This Hotel is not good, Service and food is bad. Dirty plates and risk of foodpotioning. The Hamam is dirty and very expensive. The gym / fitness room is just a room with mirrors.. Cold or no water in the shower. Internet is expensive and slow. And it is also only accessible from 2 pc in the lobby. No wirless! The Boss is really arrogant and have made the hotel a place to rip of tourists! You have to pay ALOT for to dirty towels and if you bring friends in to the hotel, than you have to pay 50 extra. You also get a extra cost for using to much toiletpaper or if your room is to dirty!!

[trivago traveller, 03/02/2008] I was in Palm Can last year.My impressions are very well. It's a simple, small, modest hotel but with everything what you need.Staff is very open, friendly and hospitable.Beach is about 200m far from the hotel.Everything what you need is nearby.I was there with my friends and we are all satisfied.
[David, 02/01/2008] We visited the beach in 2005 when I and my family were staying in a hotel in Alanya.
The beach is beautiful and sandy, not as most in Turkey.
It is west of the resort. It is about 2 kms long and is oen of the 7 in the resort.
Sands and sea water
Its sands are soft, and the children love play with it. The water is clean, but goes deep fast about 4-5 steps.
The beach has lifeguard service, umbrellas and decks for rent.
There is no wind as the beach is in a gulf surrounded by mountain.
Beach
The beach is very beautiful surrounded by hills and forest as well interesting rocks on it
