Tranquillity, comfort and charm
Cala en Porter is at the bottom of a ravine, and has a medium wide beach and fine white sand, surrounded by two tall cliffs of the bay by a well sheltered from the wind. On one side flows the stream of Cala en Porter comes from Alaior and winds through the ravine, watering the land where fruit trees are concentrated in the lee of the wind. These are the famous gardens of this area.
For the adventurous, a path starts from the development and leads to Cales Coves, a totally virgin and natural creek was once prehistoric necropolis, with spectacular cliffs, clear waters and a tranquil environment. A few kilometers from Cala en Porter are the archaeological remains of the village of Torralba d'en Talayotic Salort, with his "Taula" in an environment of huge stones carved by the first island and a big 'Talaiot "that make up one of the villages best preserved prehistoric island.
